FemTech Expo - Menopause and Aging Tech

FemTech Expo is a global program of virtual events for innovators in the healthcare and women’s health industry. 

Our innovation showcase and pitching program brings together the brightest minds from around the world to solve some of the most pressing challenges in women's health. 

From cutting-edge technology to groundbreaking research, FemTech Expo is the ultimate destination for anyone interested in driving innovation and bringing solutions to unmet needs in healthcare and, in particular, women’s health space. 

For our FemTech Expo event in October, which happens to be Menopause Awareness Month, we partnered with Bayer G4A to open a conversation about menopause and highlight brilliant companies innovating in Menopause and Aging Tech. 

We received an overwhelming response from companies around the world so the most difficult part was to choose only ten to showcase their innovations. 

Our community and attendees will have the opportunity to hear and learn from: 

  1. G4A is Bayer’s digital health partnerships and investments team dedicated to scaling digital health companies in order to create impact and change the experience of health. Their team’s vision is to reach health for all through digital health. To attain this goal they are working together with like-minded startups, digital health companies, government, investors, and strategic partners to offer early-stage start-up investments as well as commercial partnerships and late-stage investments.

They’re unlocking the body's communication network via non-invasive diagnostics, designing personalised synergistic metabolite cocktails called AgeBiotics, and empowering individuals to take control of their aging with their innovative Vitality AI Concierge. 

  4. Femmar supports women through their menopause journey at midlife from Perimenopause, Menopause and beyond.  Using thirty years of knowledge, experience and scientific research, it provides women with a natural solution to manage their menopause symptoms without resorting to hormones. Femmar’s easy to use online program removes all the confusion about what changes are needed in diet and lifestyle and allows women to take back control.   In just a few months, women find that they are symptom-free and future-proofed to continue enjoying life to its fullest. 

  5. Amira is a menopausal healthcare platform leveraging wearable technology and AI. They are launching with a product that keeps women asleep through their nighttime hot flashes. This comes with an app-based telehealth service for reducing women’s menopause symptoms.

  6. Science&Humans (S&H) is a first-of-its-kind platform transforming how individuals fulfill their hormone and wellness needs. The company's consumer-centric digital platform offers treatments for hormone health, longevity, aging, and sexual wellness. S&H is dedicated to providing accessible options and results for individuals living with hormone imbalances in Canada. In the women's health category, Science&Humans offers testing, diagnosis, treatments, and delivery of medications for symptoms of irregular periods, perimenopause, and menopause. All the products offered to patients are prescribed by licensed Canadian nurse practitioners

  7. Joylux offers a platform of life-changing solutions with high-tech devices, digital tools and products that address intimate health concerns. By combining science-based products with access to education, health data, and community, we strive to deliver better health outcomes. Our mission is to help women find delight in their lives, from motherhood to menopause.

  8. Prelude's rapid hormone tests and AI-tailored health profiles plus behavioral psychology provide women+ in their mid-years with the information they need to lead happier, healthier lives. Prelude's mission is to empower women+ in midlife to achieve optimal health and vitality by understanding and navigating their unique hormonal journey.

  9. Partnered with over 80 brands including Boots, QVC, Next and Holland & Barrett, GenM is working to transform the menopause through empowering brands to understand & support this audience. Underpinned by pioneering research, GenM is changing attitudes and normalising the conversation and  ultimately improving the health and happiness of millions with menopause-friendly products, services, signposting, and representative marketing campaigns. GenM recently launched the M-tick, the world's first recognisable menopause-friendly symbol. Similar to the vegan V or gluten-free labelling, the M-tick aims to make it easy for consumers to find suitable products, providing them with a wealth of choice to take control of their menopause in the way that best suits them.

  10. The FemAging® Project provides health and tech industry leaders and investors with research, strategy, education, and intelligence that helps drive global innovation focused on the health and wellness needs of women ages 40+.
